I’m Kristen, and I have been baking for as long as I can remember. Chocolate chip cookies have always been my go-to. Partly because I love a good chocolate chip cookie, but also because I love cookie dough. I know, I know. We’re not supposed to eat it right? Well call me a rebel, but I love cookie dough!

I was blessed to grow up in a family that loves to bake, so it’s no wonder that I enjoy it as well. And I don’t know what it is about cookies, but they are my favorites. I’m not a big cake person, they are too sweet for me. Plus, a cake isn’t as convenient to bake. And, it’s an all or nothing baked good. What I like about cookies is that you can make a dough, and then bake up cookies in small batches. It’s the perfect way to always have a warm and gooey cookie.

So a baking website about cookies gives me a chance to share some of my favorite recipes. Easy and yummy recipes that you can use for any occasion. That’s another reason why I like cookies. They are the ideal choice for a party, bake sale, church event, or any gathering where you want finger foods.

I have my grandmother’s old cookbooks and I love looking at vintage recipes. I share old fashioned recipes and family specialties that have been passed down from generation to generation. Of course times have changed and sometimes that means that ingredients and recipes need to be updated. I’ll share my test results as I bake up cookie recipes that are easy, delicious, and sure to please.
