Mardi Gras Alligators
These cute no-bake cookies are perfect for celebrating Mardi Gras, or for a kids party.
Ingredients
- 12 oz green candy melts
- 8 nutter butter cookies
- 16 candy eye sprinkles
- 40 white heart sprinkles
- 8 crown sprinkles
Instructions
- Place the candy melts in a microwave safe bowl and melt as directed on the bag. Start with one minute, stir the melts, and then continue in 30 second intervals until fully melted.
- Use a fork to dip the Nutter Butters into the green candy melts and place onto parchment paper. Quickly add a pair of eyes to each gator. Add 5 white hearts to the front for the teeth and one crown to the top of each.
- If the candy melts dry too quickly, you can use a heat gun to lightly melt the chocolate and add the sprinkles where needed.
- Let the cookies set and then serve.
