Patriotic MM Chocolate Chip Cookies
A chocolate chip cookie with red, white, and blue M&Ms. A patriotic cookie full of color and flavor.

Ingredients
- 2 cups sifted all purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 12 Tablespoons unsalted butter softened
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1.5 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup red white, and blue MMs
- 2 Tablespoons sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl and set aside.
- In a large bowl, beat the butter until light and fluffy.
- Add the granulated sugar and brown sugar to the butter. Beat until thoroughly combined and creamy.
- Add the vanilla extract and egg and mix until smooth.
- Slowly add the flour mixture. Scrape the bottom and sides of the bowl as necessary.
- Next, add the chocolate chips, MM’s and sprinkles. Mix just until combined.
- Scoop about 2 tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 11-14 minutes.
Notes
- Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for 3 days.
- Cookie dough balls may be refrigerated for 3 days, or frozen for up to 2 months.
