Easy PB Cup Brownies: Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Recipe
With these PB Cup Brownies, you get a delicious blend of peanut butter and chocolate in every bite. Topped with Reese’s peanut butter cups, this recipe is easy to make, and loaded with tons of flavor.
This recipe is great to make anytime, but I especially like to make it after Halloween when I have extra candy on hand. My daughter loves Reese’s peanut butter cups, so she grabs those at every house she goes to for trick or treating. The problem? She never eats them all, so this is the perfect way to use them up.
About PB Cup Brownies
I call these PB Cup Brownies, but some may argue that they are really blondies. What’s the difference? Well, a blondie doesn’t usually have a chocolate base to it. A brownie includes cocoa powder (or melted chocolate) to give it a chocolate batter.
But this recipe includes a chopped bar of chocolate in the dough, so one could argue that these are brownies. Whether you call them a peanut butter brownie or peanut butter blondie, the result is still the same. This is a decadent bar cookie filled with Reese’s peanut butter cups in every bite.
Like most brownie recipes, these PB cup brownies are easy to make. You don’t need a mixer, just a bowl and a whisk will do. When you use a toothpick to see if the brownies are done, be sure to check in the part of the brownie without the Reese’s. The Reese’s will always be soft and leave peanut butter on the toothpick, so don’t test there.
