Now, I said that there isn’t a pie recipe on this list, but that doesn’t mean that some of these desserts aren’t inspired by pie. Pecan pie is a tradition at my family’s Thanksgiving table. Sometimes I crave the gooey pecan flavor of a pecan pie, but I want an easier, handheld dessert. That’s why these recipes are my go-to pecan pie alternatives, perfect any time of year. I’ve also included recipes that feature pecans as a key ingredient. It’s such a versatile ingredient that there’s a variety of great desserts with pecans.

Pecan Pie Brownies

When you want to dress up your regular chocolate brownies and serve an elevated but easy dessert, these Pecan Pie Brownies are perfect. They are fudgy chocolate brownies with a topping like pecan pie. An irrisistible combination!

My grandmother always made turtle candies during the holidays. Four pecan halves topped with caramel, and then chocolate on top of that. A gooey and crunchy delight that to this day is my all-time favorite candy. So when I want those same flavors, but in a baked treat instead, these caramel chocolate turtle cookies are my favorite.
