Easy Pecan Desserts for Thanksgiving (That Are Not Pie)
Love holiday desserts, but don’t have the time or energy for complicated recipes? Then you’ll love these pecan desserts for Thanksgiving. No pies on this list! Don’t get me wrong, pies are delicious, but they can be intimidating for some people, so I figure let’s focus on desserts that are easy to make, no matter your baking level.
Best Pecan Desserts for Thanksgiving
Now, I said that there isn’t a pie recipe on this list, but that doesn’t mean that some of these desserts aren’t inspired by pie. Pecan pie is a tradition at my family’s Thanksgiving table. Sometimes I crave the gooey pecan flavor of a pecan pie, but I want an easier, handheld dessert. That’s why these recipes are my go-to pecan pie alternatives, perfect any time of year. I’ve also included recipes that feature pecans as a key ingredient. It’s such a versatile ingredient that there’s a variety of great desserts with pecans.
Pecan Pie Brownies
When you want to dress up your regular chocolate brownies and serve an elevated but easy dessert, these Pecan Pie Brownies are perfect. They are fudgy chocolate brownies with a topping like pecan pie. An irrisistible combination!
Pecan Pie Bars With Shortbread Crust
These pecan pie bars have a buttery shortbread crust. They are made without corn syrup, making them an excellent option for those looking to limit this ingredient.
Slice and Bake Pecan Shortbread Cookies
During the holiday season, I love to make pecan cookies, and these refrigerator pecan shortbread cookies are an easy slice-and-bake treat. Make the dough ahead of time, refrigerate it, and then bake as needed. A dessert that’s perfect when you’re busy and want an easy recipe that is loaded with flavor.
No Bake Pecan Pie Balls
When you want the pecan pie flavor and you don’t want to turn on the oven, or deal with a complicated recipe, these Pecan Pie Balls are a home run. An easy, no-bake dessert that is perfect to have on hand for snacks, or to bring to a party. These bite-sized treats are loaded with flavor.
Pecan Toffee Cookies
These pecan toffee cookies are another easy recipe I love for the holidays. Toffee-flavored desserts are nostalgic for me, and always transport me back to the holidays of my youth. So to me, there’s nothing better to make for your holiday dessert table than these cookies. A treat that everyone loves!
Caramel Chocolate Turtle Cookies
My grandmother always made turtle candies during the holidays. Four pecan halves topped with caramel, and then chocolate on top of that. A gooey and crunchy delight that to this day is my all-time favorite candy. So when I want those same flavors, but in a baked treat instead, these caramel chocolate turtle cookies are my favorite.
Millionaire Brownies
These millionaire brownies are aptly named. A dessert that looks and tastes like a million bucks. This layered brownie is loaded with tons of flavor in every bite. It has a shortbread crust, fudgy brownie, caramel, chocolate ganache, and pecans. I mean if this brownie doesn’t impress your family and friends, I don’t know what will.
Chocolate Chunk Pecan Brownies
Brownies are such an easy recipe, but it doesn’t mean that they aren’t perfect for a holiday dinner. Simple to make, but complex in flavor. A real treat and ones that kids and adults all love. I mean who doesn’t love chocolate chunk pecan brownies.
I hope you enjoy making one of these easy pecan desserts for Thanksgiving. I’m sure that you won’t be disappointed. These recipes are worthy of any holiday table, dessert table, or cookie exchange party.
