Tips for Making Witch Hats
This is an easy recipe to mix by hand. You don’t need a hand mixer, or stand mixer, but if you have one it definitely makes it easy to cream the butter, peanut butter, and sugars. Just don’t overmix the cookie dough once you add the eggs. And when it comes to adding the dry ingredients, don’t overmix. Stir just until combined.
You can stretch the cookie dough and increase the yield by making smaller cookies. I made nice big cookies for these pictures, but you can make smaller hats if you want. This way you get more chocolate in every bite.
Not a fan of purple? No problem! Use whatever color you’d like to create these Witch Hat Blossom cookies. I think that orange would be a fun color to use too, but purple is a popular color for witch hats so that’s why I went with that. I think the color really pops, and makes these hats nice and festive.
Making Witch Hat peanut butter blossom cookies is a fun treat to make for Halloween. Although you don’t need to limit these cookies to just once a year. Kids love the twist on the standard blossom cookie recipe. I mean who doesn’t like a cute witch hat? And the purple color is pretty for a birthday party, or other fun event. So have fun making these Witch Hat cookies any time of year.
